One day a young kid from the Old Industrial centre of Aalst (Belgium) was destined to discover and create music. At the age of 18 he found his way to the record stores with a desire to become a musician. With a mother who's teaching violin, a grandfather born in Detroit and himself already playing the piano at the age of 7, he was bound to end up in music someday. He realised that music is the driving force behind his intuition and he evolved towards the production side of things.
In 2006 he gave birth to his debut EP on Toys For Boys Records. It didn’t take long before it was discovered and launched into the play lists of several DJ’s worldwide. A unique blend of pumping minimal techno with huge influences of old school Chicago and acid house landed him a release on Marco Bailey’s MB Selektions in that same year. The releases kept following on Andre Crom’s Heimatmelodie imprint, Cologne based label Trapez and again MB Selektions where his track “Octopussy” moved the people on the dance floor all over the globe. In his records he tries to blend in old school drum elements into a subtle environment of new slinky grooves and all-out raving madness.
After teaming up in the studio with his friend Gols, his musical journey took another turn. A series of their productions resulted in releases on labels as Monique Musique, Kina, Circle Music and Fantastic Friends. In 2011 his list of studio guests had grown and these fresh influences lead to the birth of the brand new ‘Thrill Recordings’ label. It houses not only his productions and remixes but it also gives local producers a chance to enfold themselves on the label. Belgium’s music scène yearns for fresh and innovating talent. The sound is mostly broad and because it can grow in many directions that way. Wide variations and a distinct sound civilized within the borders of House and Techno.
In 2012 he’s mainly been doing productions for Labyrinth music, Monique Musique, and a series of remixes on Thrill recordings. He recently joined the ‘Sweet Trade’ team who attend to several booming events in Belgium and Europe, opening new perspectives and spreading more tracks.
Music is a performance and therefore it needs an audience. His time shifting and elevating rhythms are highly appreciated by the crowd, promoters and top DJs`. He performed at events like Kozzmozz, Feestgedruis, Ultra, Heimatmelodie and played in clubs & venues like Tresor (Berlin), U60311 (Frankfurt), Fuse (Brussels), Vooruit (Ghent), Kiosk Club (Lille), Aquarium (London), Zoo Club (Madrid), Club Versteck (Dortmund). Not to forget Belgium’s finest festivals Tomorrowland and Extrema. Much acclaimed support followed from artists such as Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, Josh Wink, Luciano, Karotte, Marco Bailey, Monika Kruse, Gabriel Ananda, Seth Troxler, Len Faki, Dominik Eulberg, Skoozbot, Alexi Delano & Tim Xavier and many more.
